Tarp Project Pictures : Holy Spirit Church’s Haiti Program recently started a tarp program for people living in homes made of cornstalks. Because there is so much rain during the wet season these homes become like sponges and leak everywhere. Our group hung 15 tarps and anchored them with rope and stakes. If you would like to purchase a tarp for a home please contact Holy Spirit Church or Tim Ryan at 454-9875. Holy Spirit Church is a 501c3 for all donations.

West Trip, Tim Ryan Photo's : The West Catholic High School Alternative Spring Break 2009 was a huge success! Our group consisted of 9 high school students and 8 adults. The group was in Seguin during Holy Week. Pictures from all albums in the group contain different activities enjoyed by our group. Events and Activities were: Palm Sunday celebration, visiting Ryan’s Peak, hanging tarps on homes made of cornstalks, building latrines, handing out gift bags sent by the students of Holy Spirit School, painting with pre school children that have never painted before, playing in the school yard with the school children, and checking the water filters. If you have an interest in traveling to Haiti or would like to help financially please contact Holy Spirit Church or Tim at 454-9875. Holy Spirit Church is a 501c3 for all donations.
